Lofa will be presented as a solo exhibition at the University of Maine Museum of Art (UMMA) in Bangor, Maine, USA, from Sept. 14-Dec. 29, 2018, in its 570-square-foot main gallery.

Lofa is a new body of approximately 100 works in clay that builds on my experimental approach to contemporary ceramic sculpture. It is comprised of two subcategories: approximately 50 new ceramic sculptural “vessels” in a variety of shapes, sizes and finishes that will be displayed on custom-made plinths; and a large-scale vertical wall installation of 50 three-dimensional relief works. Each of these approximately 12-inch-squared works will be unique, but together will create a unified whole.
